I can communicate with plants

So yesterday morning, I am standing on my back deck, drinking coffee, looking at the tree in my back yard. I'm trying to look at the bird feeders I put up, but the tree has too many branches sagging in the way of the feeders to get a good angle from the deck. Bummer, right??

So, I'm standing there, talking to Alexis, and I say "hey ... do you think it would be bad to cut down some of those branches blocking the view of the feeder?"

Alexis: "No, I mean ... it's yours! I mean, that's your tree!"

Ian: "Well .. but it's like, it's its own life form... I mean, what right do I have to just go and chop a bunch of things off just so I can see my bird feeders better."

Literally three to five seconds later, this happens:

The back of the tree started snapping ... and then it just fell off. It heard me .. and it appreciated the fact that I was considering it its own being and not just property of mine .. then it voluntarily decided to help me out by cutting off several of its own limbs. Once I clear those branches out .. i will have a perfect view of the feeders.

UPDATE:

Thanks, God!

xoxo
Ian

I see the relevance of the tree-thing now. You are much better at talking to trees than I am. Or maybe they just fall apart when they're addressed.
